It was very interesting to read about your process behind making this track, and the research and resources you used to create it. It definitely has that Ocarina of Time feel. I think it would be perfect for a ROM hack of OoT, or an independent game inspired by OoT.

The only thing I don't like about it is that the icy bells don't seem to go together with the jungle beats and Indian(?) chanting, at least in my mind. A chilly feeling, or a humid and warm tropical feeling, my mind can't seem to decide what kind of vibe to perceive when listening to this. Of course that's all largely due to cultural context.

It's interesting that you mention the both a cold and warm feeling, because that is also what I pictured. The temple itself is in a barren arctic tundra, but the inside is warm and torch lit.

Sounds just like my favorite bands!

LuckyDee responds:

Hey, thanks for responding, and glad you like it!

I like this a lot. I got a little emotional listening to it. I like the dreamlike feeling and sincerity. We don't have many artists making music that sounds like this here on NG. Happy you're here.

SpoonMix responds:

Thank you so much! Some of the words I sang in here are real feelings I had at the moment and I am glad you can relate to it. I am very happy to be here, wish I knew about Newgrounds sooner... :)

Such fun energy!

3xBlast responds:

Thanks! 😁Pretty chuffed about it myself tbh!

I love it! A lot!

anthonyragus responds:

Thanks dude!

It's relaxing, I like it

Aalasteir responds:

It's good to see you, thank you!

I only like the part from 0:42 to 01:22. It is pretty and angelic but a little foreboding which is an interesting contrast. The rest, I don't really like. It gets much too dissonant, meandering, and droning.

Aalasteir responds:

Thank you for your message, I appreciate your feedback.

Very good for your first attempt at this type of song. If you like trying out different genres, have you ever thought about doing ska?

Precipitation24 responds:

Thank you!
I've never heard of the ska genre before, but it sounds very nice music! I don't know much about music genres, but the YouTube video "Vinyl Selection - 60's Ska Special" was helpful.

This song is so good! It should be in Project DIVA! I would love to play it in that game with a lovely music video of Luka in the rain.

Usually songs about rain are very sad, but this one is upbeat, which is unique. I don't know if it is your intent because I don't understand the Japanese lyrics very well, but I think your song has a feeling of perseverance, overcoming worries and staying hopeful.

Precipitation24 responds:

Thank you!
You might be right. Simply put, the lyrics are about the everyday life of an ADHD-ish girl (like me), and I didn't think much more about it, but after reading your comment, I felt that I wanted the song to be about her doing her best to live, rather than about her difficulties in life.

I think I would really like this track a lot if the drums/percussion that comes in at 0:33 were quieter

Constrict responds:

Not sure if you can reply back here. If not just dm me it
Do you mean the hats or the very slow/deep foley that runs as loop through the track?
