such a very cool action packed composition!

Very clever composition. The way that he is the only one on the app in the area who is willing to show his face is on his profile is very symbolic, and relatable. Using those kinds of apps makes me have an expression like that on my face, too. The wrinkles on the clothes and texture of the hair are well drawn, and the dramatic lighting is a nice effect.

Some critique to help you improve:
The eyes and nose seem a bit small. Also they are a bit low on the face. The eyes should be higher than the vertical center of the head.

The chin is skewed at an incorrect angle. Even if the jaw is meant to be pressed away from its natural position by his palm, the human jaw's horizontal range of motion is to only move side to side, and does not tilt, so the chin should remain parallel with the hairline.

Glad you found the idea interesting. Indeed, the symbolism you mention was very intentional, and there's more layers to it when you consider the specific situation in his country of origin, and also the implications of someone being willing to show practically their entire bare body on an app... but not their face. Long story short, definitely had a blast making this.

Thank you very much for the critique as well. Regarding the chin, I realized as much as soon as I finished inking and coloring everything, and at that point there was no going back. I also may not have taken enough time to double check everything before inking, which would explain the mistakes with the eyes and nose you noticed.

All in all, thank you very much for this comment, getting feedback like this means a lot to me!

This might be my favorite art of Krystal I've seen, I really like the way you drew her close to on-model but just a little more toony and exaggerated. And I like the kinetic action pose.

You got the art style so accurate

Damn he's fine

clever design motif

I have seen so much Mario fan art that is all tends to blur together and it's rare to find something unique that stands out, but you achieved that with this piece. The interesting perspective and composition makes it really eye catching and kinetic. I like the dreamy twilight color palette, too.

So polished, consistent, and accurate while still emphasizing silhouette and body language. Very impressive. This kind of work requires a lot of skill because you need knowledge of perspective and knowing where to keep it and where to break it. I feel like I learned some things about 2D character construction just by looking at this.

Lovely colorful and stylish homage!

Really awesome how you drew her so well, in cool poses, while still maintaining the feeling of the art style of the game!
